What Have I Been up to?
Well, I’m flush out of ideas for posts to make, so I thought I’d give people a recap of what I’m doing with regards to affiliate marketing.
To put it simply, not much different. I’m continuing on pace. I’ve dropped out of the 30 Day Challenge because I found it was just one big upsell. I don’t have a problem with such a thing, but Ed Dale (the creator) won’t just come out and fucking say it. He acts like we’re tards and we’re not really being sold too. Fuck’em. Anyway, I get it. I get what the whole point is and I can get by fine without it. Basically the whole idea is having PROOF that a market will BUY before you go and make your own product. Bam, there, saved you 30 days of being marketed too. If you’ve been doing affiliate marketing (like me), you pretty much know what’s selling and what isn’t. I’m actually starting into making my own product now. I’ve decided to launch it in early September. That should give me plenty of time to create it. I would probably launch earlier, but I made promises to myself not to add things onto my credit card. I know that sounds stupid, but I have financial goals I’m setting and one of them was not to put anything on my credit card this month except the automatic hosting charge. I’ve put some money into my savings account to take care of the cost of launching, so no big deal there. I’m excited to see how this will pan out. This is the next step in the evolution of affiliate marketing, so I’m definitely going to keep everyone updated on the process and my experiences doing this. I guess that’s all that’s on my plate. Oh, I’ve completely cut out all Forex related article marketing since I just don’t see the value in it anymore. I did a lot more diversification into niches that are a little more timeless. Please feel free to email me and ask me a question. It gives me ideas for posts on the site. I promised someone that I was going to write a post on outsourcing work to places like India. I’ll do that, I just need a little more time to write a decent post. August 12 2008
