The Timeless Niches and Products
I wanted to talk about something that I think is very important, that wasn’t really pointed out to me when I started into this business. All of us, when we started out probably asked these questions, what should I sell? what niches should I be in? how do I know if it is a good product? Etc. You probably got some answers from “pick the small niches”, “pick the big niches”, “select a high gravity product”, etc. You weren’t told one answer; timeless.
I think this is so important because I’ve evaluating things lately and it’s really painting a picture. The great thing about getting into this business is that you work on something that makes money. Which is how wealthy people work. The difference between the wealthy and ordinary Joe’s that struggle from paycheck to paycheck is the way they work to make money. Ordinary Joe’s make money per hour. If they don’t work, they make no money. Obviously to get more money, the ordinary Joe must work more hours or make more per hour. Since you can only ask for so much of a raise and you physically can only work so many hours a day, your potential income is limited. If you look at the wealthy, they don’t work for money. They build things that make money. They invest in things that make money. The keyword is that they leverage their time. You buy real estate and rent it out. You can make $500/mth for a few hours of work. The idea is that the more you build, the more money you make and the more time you can leverage to build something else. We build websites and make money off of them. We’re leveraging time, but the problem is that we don’t necessary go after timeless niches and products, which is what I want to address with this post. I started out promoting two products. At the time I had no idea the difference between timeless products and ones that aren’t, but in my case one product was timeless and the other wasn’t. Guess which one is still making sales to this day. The timeless one. The other product sold at the time, but I haven’t seen any sales from it in months. And you know what, it sucks. All that work I put into it is not being leveraged. A timeless product in a timeless niche will make you money month after month for years. This is the point I want to get across to new people. When you’re picking a product you want to pick something is timeless. You want to know that it’s going to last for months. When you do it this way, you build a foundation that is strong. If you go after the ones that aren’t timeless that will get you sales right away, you’re building a foundation that will crumble. I’m not saying there is anything wrong with these ones that aren’t timeless, but they die. I think building a foundation on timeless should be your strategy and doing a few of these non-timeless ones for bonus cash. I’ve noticed Forex products are some of the worst. They last around month. Some last longer, but they’re just horrible. Commissions are good, but they’re definitely not timeless. That’s what I want to address with people. It’s hard to find timeless products. If you look at the health niche, it’s pretty timeless, but some products aren’t timeless. You make some sales and it just dies after that. What I want to do is make a database. I want to compile it and share it with everyone to show you the products that have been selling over months to years. That’s why I’m asking you for your help in compiling this. What have your timeless products been? I’m talking about ones that have been selling for months now on a consistent basis. This isn’t a place to dump your own affiliate products. No Forex, Water4Gas or internet marketing stuff because they’re all pretty much not timeless. Proof would be nice. Just some sort of stat that shows you’ve been getting at least one sales every week for sometime.
