Snowball Diversification

Snowball Diversification is a term I’ve coined. It’s mine!! lol. It is actually derived from the snowball debt repayment strategy (which I’m also following). The idea is that you pay all your minimums and put all your excess on the smallest debt. This way you pay it off faster and free up more money to put on another debt. This way, your payments grow in size.

Anyway, this is a little different. Obviously diversifying your income source is an important part of being a webmaster. Nothing is going to last forever and you have to protect yourself. Starting out you should only stick with one. There is no point in diversifying then. You’d spread around things so much you’d never get your first check out of Clickbank and you’d end up quitting.

My diversification isn’t good. I do have Clickbank going well, and I also have Adsense, which I don’t do anything with. Essentially, I just have one income source.

Since my checks from CB are large and consistent, I think it’s about time to start diversifying. Clickbank won’t be there forever and you never know what could happen tomorrow. They could be quietly filling bankruptcy. I don’t know.

What I’m going to be doing is what I like to call Snowball Diversification. I’ve put all my energy in CB, to get my income up for that. I’m going to continue doing that. I’m going to get 1 more affiliate on the side and build it’s income up high as well. This would make two high income checks coming in. Than I move onto a third, etc etc.

That’s what I’m calling snowball diversification and it’s what my strategy will be. I’m still floating around to see what I’ll use. I probably won’t use Commission Junction because I just don’t like them.
