Results of my Article Directory Experiment
Well, I mentioned before that I was in the middle of an experiment, searching for the best ones out there that could replace EzineArticles if it was ever need. There were some extra lessons learned, but here is the nuts and bolts of the experiment.
Basically, I submitted 10 unique articles to 25 directories. Each directory got a unique article and all of them targeted a long tail keyword. Even though this isn’t a “perfect” method, it is good enough in my eyes. What I was measuring was the amount of views and clicks to my site.
That was the experiment. I can only come up with 9 that are useful. There was quite a few of them that have articles still in the queue after about three weeks. This will be an ever evolving experiment. I’m always looking for new article directories to try, so if you have any that you think get a good amount of traffic, please post them. And no, don’t post GoArticles, they suck ass. July 14 2008
