Newbie Project: The Pretentious Narcissist
I’m sure I’ll alienate some of my viewer base with this post, but I don’t care. I don’t want you as a viewer if you’re offended.
This is inspired for all the Apple users out there. If I was to take a guess, over 90% of people that own an Apple product are huge pretentious narcissistic pricks. I hate them so much because of their arrogant attitude because they own an iPhone or Airbook. I often fantasize about doing a ground and pound. You know, I’m on top punching them in the face over and over again. When my fist gets sore, I just start crashing my form arm and elbow into their face. Hitting harder and harder on the bridge of their nose, hoping to fracture it in multiple places. Well, enough with my fantasies. These people are the biggest pretentious narcissists you’ll find on this Earth. They think they’re so Godlike because they have a Mac and use an iPhone. That have to proclaim how AWESOME their products are until I start to contemplate splitting my head open on the corner of a table. I’m waiting for the next Apple product. I can see it now. "iPrick". It’s this thing you put on your belt that just randomly makes pretentious Apple comments. "I use an iPod because it has genius software", "I have an AirBook and it’s so thin I can put it in an envelope. There’s no purpose for doing such things, except being an even bigger prick than I already am, while I stand in line at Starbucks to get my coffee." I hate these guys. All of them are part of the anti-Corporation, anti-Globalization (Note* Apple is a corporation and has phones made in third world countries) and whatever narcissistic movement they can get in. They fight the consumer culture, but enjoy paying for overpriced crap, as long as it comes from Apple (or Starbucks). They make me want to puke. Now, to the project. Instead of actually fulfilling my fantasy of a ground and pound of every last one of these pretentious assholes, why not profit from them? It’s pretty apparent that they’ll overpay for things, sometimes 2-3 times, for less quality. That means there is a huge opportunity to profit. You’re going to find a product to sell. I’m not sure if there is Apple like stuff out there like iPhone software or whatever. You’re going to make a sales page that just strokes their ego. Be as pretentious as you possibly can explaining how high and mighty it is to own this product. It doesn’t really matter how useless it is, just make it as pretentious as possible and the pretentious buyer will buy it. Yes, I do realize that a bit off this is a rant. It helps point out what I’m talking about when it comes to the project. July 18 2008
