Newbie Project: Preparing For The Fall
The fall is fast approaching and this is where we come crashing into a more profitable time online. Parents have sent their children back to school. People have stopped going to the beach. People are now falling back into their routines of coming home from work and hanging out on the computer.
We need to properly capitalize on this obviously. We’re going to focus on the three main holidays coming up; Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas. Obviously you can work in a few other things such as back to school, but we’ll just keep it simple. The idea is to mesh the holiday and the product you’re selling together. What you’re going to do is find keywords related to some product you’re going to sell. You’re probably not going to find a Halloween related keyword for a product other than costumes and candy. Don’t worry about it. Christmas and thanksgiving are a little different because shopping is big during these times. You’ll try to find keywords for both the niches you plan to sell in and related to the holidays. For example, “Great Christmas Gifts for Back Pain Relief” That’s all you’re going to need to do. Just do some keyword research and find some keywords you can rank for. We’ll go into more of what you’re going to do with them next week. I’ll explain a little more about the Halloween reference. Obviously, no one is going to be searching “Halloween Spooky Goblins Back Pain Relief”, so you’re probably confused. It’s really simple. You’re going to use your regular keywords, except give it a theme of Halloween. So when someone searches it or sees it around Halloween, they’ll just have to click on it. Like here are a few theme ideas:
Weight Loss: Don’t be the big fat pumpkin at this years Halloween party. I know they sort of sound retarded, but the idea is to be festive. It’s related to the holiday, so people are more interested. August 22 2008
