Newbie Project: Long Term Recycling Part 1
Alright, this is the newbie project starting a day early, just because this one is a bit larger. As you can tell, the title is Long Term Recycling. No, I haven’t turned hippy, I’m talking about recycling good work and reusing it again.
Today will be more of a summary of what will be going on and mainly gathering the proper things you’re going to need. What we’re going to do is build a hub (not like hubpages.com) in your subdirectory that is going to filter to various high traffic articles. This is going to be a long term thing since search engines might not show you love for months. In the end, you’re going to use proven keywords that send decent traffic. A hub is something that will basically filter traffic in a certain way. It’s not quite as deceptive as the newbie project I’ve given on it in the past, but like the definition of a hub, it’s the point where people arrive before they go onto other destinations. I’ll go into that tomorrow in part 2. I’m sure most of you haven’t done sporadic niches when you market affiliate products. You’ve probably stuck with what works. I’ve done a lot of my marketing in the Health niche. That would be the topic of my hub. I’ve also written on a wide variety of Health sub niches. I’ve done fitness, sports, weight loss, back pain, etc. I want you to select at least three of these sub niches. Don’t pick my niches, they’re just examples. Pick the niches you’ve been doing. All I want you to do today, is goto an article directory that you submit too, that also keeps the stats on how much each of your articles are viewed. Most of you, like me, will goto EzineArticles to find these. All I want you to do is get your 3 highest viewed articles for each subniche and bookmark it into a folder. That’s it. The great thing about this is that we know how powerful the keywords used in that article are. If you have an article that has gotten 10,000 views in a few months, than you know it’s good. I’ll continue on with part 2 tomorrow which will go into what we need to do with all this. August 7 2008
