Newbie Project: Getting Productive
I’ve been sort of getting frustrated with myself lately and thought that this would be a very appropriate type of project for people to start implementing.
I don’t know about you, but I’ve got very unproductive lately. I’ve been watching my stats turn from consistent to erratic and I’ve just been generally down about this. I’ve also been growing concerned with my dependence on article marketing. Basically, I had to come up with a way to get more productive and get my daily routine back into some good all around tasks. I need to really get off the whole article marketing dependence because that’s all I’ve been doing lately. I keep thinking about that hypothetical question “What if ezinearticles got deindexed by Google for a month, what would happen to you?” I’d be devastated. The need to build my own empire is starting to return, as well as the need to change up my strategies. What I did a few weeks ago was I decided to cut out things that were unproductive. I said no more to forums and of checking stats. Well, that didn’t work out to well because I was just telling myself what to not do, instead of what to do. So today we’re going to write down, in point form, what we’re going to do tomorrow. You’re going to determine each day, what you’re going to do tomorrow for work. For example, here is mine…
As you can see, it’s much more direct and it will make you more productive. You’ll just move from one task to the next and so on. Give it a try and eventually you’ll fine tune it to some great routine that you’ll do each day. Remember to try and diversify the tasks, so you’re not just doing one thing. October 10 2008
