My Issue With EzineArticles.com
I’m sure some have you noticed the sexy little poll in the sidebar of this site asking if you’d join me in a boycott of EzineArticles (EZA). Only three people voted, mainly because I haven’t actively did any work to get people to this site lol. Anyway. EZA has just been pissing me off lately.
Last month, I had a bunch of articles starting to get rejected. In the email it gave me the pretty standard "there’s something wrong with your resource box, blah blah blah, violating rule 2F". Well, when you look under 2F, it’s really 15 rules. There’s no possible way for me to figure out what the hell is wrong, so I was forced to email them. At this time, it took them an ENTIRE WEEK to respond to it, here is what I got…
Fine. It’s solved. Probably some new asshole editor fucked up. Over the last month or so, articles have went in relatively fine. Now and than, an article would be rejected and I’d submit it the next day. It was always promptly accepted. Now August, they’re rejecting them again and it’s just pissing me off so much. There’s currently seven sitting in problem status as I write this. They claim, once again, the 2F rule. I have some articles that have the same resource box I have that I’ve submitted hundreds of times before it. I’m just getting pissed off at having to chase them around. It’s not like a small fry writer that doesn’t get the rules. I nearly have a 1000 articles with them. So what the fuck? What the fuck is going on? I sent them off a support email Monday, so we’re going to see what the hell is up this time. Probably a mistake, but I’m just sick of it. I’m thinking of continuing on to the 1000 article mark and just stopping. I’ll move onto other directories that treat consistent writers well. August 13 2008
