Goal: My Adsense Check Before Christmas
As you know, I don’t actively promote Adsense, but I did try it out in the past and made a little pocket change each week. I didn’t bother taking any of it down because money is money. Well, all of that has added up to $60.99 so far. At the rate things are going now, it’ll probably take another year for me to make it to the $100 threshold to get a paycheck.
I thought, maybe I should do some active promoting of it, so I can get a nice $100 paycheck by Christmas time. That would really help around that time. This is going to be my goal. It’s not something I’m going to put too much work into because I only need to make really $40. For the most part, I’m just going to dig through keyword prices on Adwords and see which give a good value, but also aren’t that competitive for ranking. That’s really what I’m going to try to do. It’s not going to be some big project. Maybe a few articles a week and that’s it. I’m sure some of you are thinking, "Will you be putting the ads on this site?" No I will not be. August 23 2008
