Experimentation: The Key to Learning
I wanted to take the time to talk about the importance of doing experimentation and trying out new things. We all know that the key to success is building routines and habits that make us successful, but the problem is that this causes a stagnation in the learning process.
When you experiment, you’re trying something out. There is a lot of room to fail, but that isn’t necessarily a bad thing. You have to try things out just to see what will happen, just to prove it to yourself. If we all just did the same thing as webmasters there would be so much competition. Why not try something different and go down a different path? Always Be Evolving Apart from your routine that builds your income, you need to also do some side experiments. I’m not trying to make drop what works and move on to something else. Always do what works, but you need to invest time to always try something different. I’ve tried a lot of different things that haven’t worked for me. I written a lot of articles that haven’t even got a click through to my site, but I learn from that. That’s why I have some articles that get an 80% CTR. If you don’t try things out, you’ll never grow. July 3 2008
